Brislington East

Brislington East is a mixed ward representing a wide range of income levels and includes St Anne’s, St Anne’s Park, Broomhill and Brislington Village.

Most secondary school children in the area go to the new Brislington Enterprise College one of 16 brand new secondary schools built to replace terrible under-maintained secondary schools.

Another investment from Labour in the area two new Children’s Centres at St Anne’s and Broomhill – great help for new and young families everything from nutrition advice to help getting back to work.

The parks in the city have been revitalised in recent years and that’s because the former Labour government gave Bristol £2.3m to replace all the park play equipment. Those who use Victory Park can see for themselves.

Another success has been the replacement of the pre-fabs in Latimer Close – demolished now and replaced with new homes at affordable rents.
